If you consider the fact the Chiru hasn't announced his party he had few rallies in Vizag, Blood banks, Nandi foundation in Nalgonda etc, he is almost already second in the state. He can easily go to 1st once he starts his party and start meeting people.

Majority as per N TV Trends 2004->2008

Srikakulam Chiru Cong -> Chiru
Vijayanagaram Cong-Chiru TDP -> Chiru
Vizag Chiru Cong, TDP -> Chiru
EastGodavari Cong-TDP Cong -> TDP, Chiru
WestGodavari Cong TDP -> Chiru
Krishna Cong Cong -> TDP, Chiru
Guntur Chiru Cong -> TDP, Chiru
Prakasam Cong Cong
Nellore Cong Cong -> TDP, Chiru
Chittor Cong Cong, TDP -> Chiru
Kadapa Cong Cong
Kurnool Cong-TDP Cong -> TDP
Ananthapur Cong TDP -> Cong
Adilabad TDP Cong -> TDP
Nizamabad Cong TRS -> Chiru
Mahaboobnagar TDP Cong -> TDP
Medak Cong-TRS
Nalgonda Chiru Cong,TRS -> Chiru
Karimnagar TRS
Warangal TRS Cong, TRS -> Chiru
Khammam Left
Rangareddy Cong-Chiru All -> Chiru
Hyderabad Cong TDP, TRS -> Cong

This is how trends are going (these are not votes). It think it is matter of time Chiru gains complete hold in Andhra, significan in Telangana and decent in Rayalaseema.

Obviously Cong is giving away its majority as it swept the 2004 elections. This doesn't mean they are weak but they are in decline.
