I consider all the political leaders who are going to join us as very important to my mission for people. I am ready to wage my war against corruption with old weapons (migrating people). I don't think they are rusty weapons. I consider them still sharp. I will consider such sharp weapons (leaders),"
1:45 pm :
Wait, listen about corruption: Chiru"I will talk about corruption before the lakhs and lakhs of people. You have to wait for sometime to hear from me directly," Chiranjeevi told the media. "As I get ready to address my maiden public meeting, I feel elated. A special feeling grips me. It is not pressure, but a great opportunity before me. It is a deep emotion. I am not feeling sad for leaving the film industry, but I am happy that a more precious mission is before me for the people. People at present are not happy in the state. I can clearly see that. I feel their strong inside urge for happiness. My political party is the result of their deep felt feelings. I am answerable to their feelings," he said.
Chiru further said: "I don't think I am doing politics even now also. I feel this as a big opportunity to render effective social service. This political party is just a platform, it is like an adharam. Even during 2004 elections, my name cropped up among the public, who desired me to come into politics. Like that, thrice I felt the call. Now, I thought I could delay, but respond to the public at this right time. A feeling as to what should I give to people, and how I have to fulfill their dreams for betterment was continuously felt in my mind," he maintained.
"Andhra Pradesh people will definitely and unanimously give power to those towards whom they would tilt. I don't think there will a hung. Nobody needs to live in poverty. All should live in peace and happiness. The day will come when our Andhra Pradesh will turn into Santhoshandra Pradesh, Chiru Navvula Andhra Pradesh and Subhiksha Andhra Pradesh," Chiru said.
Rajni doing, why can't me: ChiruActor turned politician Chiranjeevi said that he still holds the stamina as an actor for the next five years, but he decided to come into politics for doing effective social service. A Four Pronged Drive Needed
The findings of this study calls for the following four-pronged efforts:
1. SimplificationUrgently required are simplification of procedures and even eliminating certain formalitiesfor BPL households; more visible and interactive redressal practices; curbing discretionaryoptions with individuals at service delivery points; and accountability by giving identitiesof functionaries.
2. Streamline Information FlowsImproved information flow for a more transparent and trust-based transactions andcustomized service orientation with the help of IT tools, e-governance initiatives and betterorganized front ends of service delivery points are required. Also, priorities and concernsof e-governance projects should keep in view the special needs of vulnerable sectionsof households.
3. Front End Staff Need Special ConcernReorienting staff to serve BPL and vulnerable households with special attention and on apriority basis is required. Their sensitivity to special needs of BPL households need to beimproved with periodic workshops and training programmes and special arrangements inthe operations.
4. Civil Society Activism is Better BetFinally, civil society activism has to come more in to play. It should be possible with RTIAct, Citizens’ Charters, Social Audit and on-line services. This study has shown that socialactivism can make difference in favour of the poor. There is ample scope for acollaborative course.
As per vasthu geographically it is right place
It is a lucky place to start
Already both YSR and CBN is from Rayalaseema, it is better Chiru to be CM outside Rayalaseema
This is his home, so if he wish to do good for his place, he may choose this.
This may localize the party to Godavari Districts itself.
He has a strong bond for Nellore (attagarillu)
Nellore dosn't has any focus in neither state or center in tems of politics though 10 MP are from here.
It may backfire in Telangana.
Pavan is more suitable here?
This is very critical place after delimition, to pull through the urban vote.
Here are my views.
Liquor Ban :
Almost 15000 to 1.5 lac/anum was thrown away for liquor by families under poverty line in AP, contributing nearly 45% of his annual income on average.
Last year 6000 crores worth of liquor was consumed in AP next to only Karnataka. The liquor consumption is growing rapidly may touch 10000 crores in election year.
Even lot of IT and other high salaried employees also paying good 30% of their income to liquor.
If the liquor is not banned it next to impossible to erradicate poverty as people are habituated to spend their surplus (often absolute money) money on liquor.
End Corruption :
The corruption in AP is gone to a level that people started to believe it is not possible to erradicate it. The corruption by Politicians and Govt Officials in all forms like bribery, extortion, cronyism, nepotism, patronage, graft, and embezzlement are making the country/state a hell. This the major drawback for to solve any kinds of problem in AP.
As per one survey around 21000 crores paid for petty corruption in India by citizens. If you include all forms of corruption (favours to some relatives - nepotism and favourism etc) it will be 100 times more than that.
Caste equation should be discouraged as much as possible. I am not sure how to address differnt section of society without compromizing the integrity of the system. The equation for offering for differnt sections works something like this OC < Poor OC < BC < ST < Minorities < SC. If you put finger there anywhere in middle you will get into too many problems.
