చిరు ప్రజా అంకిత యాత్ర - రాయల సీమ ( Chiru Praja Ankita yatra - Rayalaseema updates)
Chiru remembered his favourite scene in Indra, when kisssed the epic land of Rayala seema. Responding to a huge public gathering , Chiru cited : రాయల సీమ వెనకపడ్డ ప్రాంతం కాదు - వెనక్కి నేట్టివేయ పడ్డ ప్రదేశం .( Meaning, Seema is not a backward state but a stated that pushed back by some poltician's self interests).
సాక్శాత్తూ వ్యవసాయ శాఖ మంత్రి ఇక్కడి వాడు , కాని ఇక్కడ రైతులకు వ్యవసాయం శక్తికి మించిన పని అయింది .
The response has indeed sent tremors into pilotical parties with the response chiru has got in seema and people started blame games as a means of face saving exercises.
Some websites like Greaat andhraaa and some daily news papers which are chamchaas of some political parties - who made some funny statements like - "the tour is planned in narrow lanes to show more people" (Isn't it funny for somebody who has gathering of lakhs for his roadshows .......!!!!!!!!!) are facing wrath of people with their circulations falling by 15 % over the past two months.

Sirisilla, Polepalli and Ganagadevi Palli
He is expected to tour all the state but he started in a different style by visiting critical villages like Sirisilla and Polepalli along with ideal village like Ganagadevi Palli. He is making inroads into Cong strong holds "villages" and also answering the critics who said he is weak in Telangana.
The Sirisilla has be the address of suicides of handloom workers. Chiru's meeting really helped them, by making Govt to react quickly. I hope they are doing something concrete than just publicity stunt.
Polepalli, the formers are collected their lands at 16,000/acre but got only 9000/acre in the name of Farma SEZz. But for the last 6 years not even one company started anything (not even sankustapana), hlaf of the land are sold as real estate costing 60 lacks/acre. This is absolute looting. All the people gave the land has nothing to do in the village, 40 of 400 villages already committed suicides.
Gangadevi Palli is a symbol of cooperation and team work. Chiru visited this village and understood how it is possible in this political and social atmosphere. Understanding the needy as well as appreciating the achievements both are equally important for a leader.
While his visit to Warangal Telangana people are welcoming him through the highway, Esp near Bhuvanagiri, people were throwing flowers on Chiru convoy for 15 KM of highway. It is huge welcome for mega star.
Vijaya Dasami, the Chiru campaign will start.

What is this "clarity" of issues
1. Telangana Issue:
Cong stand is Sonia will take right decision at right time. That means they are not sure whether Sonia is far/against Telangana, also not sure whether when will they get the decision also. Already 4 1/2 years of 5 years is over after 6 months, it doesn't matter what decision she takes. Whoever comes back onus is on him.
TDP was against Telangana for lot of time. Of late they said they are not against it, and set up a fake committee and awaiting report. What can a committee do everybody knows the issue right? They are certainly in dilemma.
TRS and BJP is fairly firm on the separate state, but TRS cannot get Telangana of their own. They couldn't get when their ally Cong came in power both in state and center, so they are riding on emotion. They know they can do nothing. BJP has no takers though they can try.
Chiru, also in no position to achieve Telangana said I will respect the Telangana sentiment; it’s a self respect issue for them to be in a separate state. This means he will support the cause but can’t say he will achive it as he it is not in his hands.
2. SC categorization:
Everybody says has double standard in this Cong, TDP etc. But Chiru said needs some evaluation, no comment, because there is no visible solution to this problem without hurting the sentiments.
3. International issues:
Like nuclear deal, relations with China and US etc. As far as the AP state goes they are no issues. Also the N-deal is over and it is not in our hands, so what the point of opposing or supporting it is. After all our country signed the deal, so we should live with it, so Chiru didn't oppose the deal actively and kept silent on it.

Congress is losing confidence
Where ever Praja Rajyam flag is found public is waving their hands. Everybody is talking about Praja Rajyam. Though there isn't enough media buzz about Chiru after Tirupathi sabha, the second fiddle leaders and flag bearers are leaving the main parties to join Chiru.
Ironically YSR and KVP conducted a survey on their MLA and Ministers performance showed some shocking results. Especially 70 of 185 MLAs cannot win this election at any cost, same is the case eve you change the candidates. More than 40 MLAs are trailing, as the anti incumbency is getting thick in the state (even their strength farmers are going against them because of Urea and pesticides scarcity), It is very difficult for these to bounce back. 70 to 80 MLAs are in winning position right now, but not sure how things can change in next 6 months. The seats which they gave to partners like TRS and CPM and CPI and lost to TDP. To win back the lost seats from them is also very difficult. As lost time wherever TDP won it is a very strong holds of TDP (obviously). As the partners like TRS and Left are against Cong now, also they are joining with TDP makes it very difficult for Cong. So they can only get very few seats from there also. YSR slowly realizing that he is going. The infighting is Cong high as usual, only they are not able to come out because of YSR image. Every district as a local group and a YSR group in Cong.
YSR hope is Chiranjivi. Yes, I mean it. He wants Chiru to damage only TDP. How he want give his cadre confidance that Cong will only come to power so don't tilt towards Chiru, as you will end up in losing side. Some what he is successful in sending this message also. But can he stop voters? Anyway he wants to maximise his tally, which is fair. The Samajika Nyayam and Delimitation is also causing confusion in Congress. Nobody is ready to sacrifice as they are in power. So it is matter of time the Congress will comes out about their diffidence. Is the time arrived? Yes. It will start with Sonia meeting tomorrow. They are planning to make it to that of Chiru's in Tirupathi. But if they fail to get the half of Chiru they will start panicking. It the tomorrow D-Day for Congress or will they somehow manage to postpone it. Let’s see.

CPM and Lok Satta invite Chiru for Strategic alliances.
Loksatta has always visioned a better Andhra pradesh and CPM has always been a Pro-Poor party .
It is too early to say it will happen especially with the current media ( call it "media maphia") where most of the big media barons( including press and telivision) have tied up with political parties as their flag bearers - they can easily play spoilsport by comments like " CPM wooing Chiru" , "Lok Satta Behind Chiru" , "Chiru behind Lok Sattta " to ensure that the matters become more of sensitve and turn out to be more of self pride there by spoiling things.
But overall in what we have gathered from people the opinion is that it will make the effort to "change the present system " even stronger and it is a win-win situation for Chiru , Loksatta and CPM if they share a common platfrom and prioritise people needs as primary objective.

prajarajya prabhanjam is ON- you accept it or not.
Mantra of AP Politics - What is this "Social Justice" is all about?
What is this all about?
To say in political temrs it is BC Votes.
Why everybody utterring this?
This needs some explanation.
Total AP has around 9 crore population.
The break up of this as per sections (roughtly):
OC 27%, BC 50% and SC and ST (23%)
The SC and ST always get their share of political importance as they have reservation in Parliament and Assembly. While BCs has reservations in education and govt but they don't have in Parliament and Assembly.
So though they are the strong majority (half way) they are getting only 10 to 15% of seats in most of the parties.
Chiranjeevi coming into the pictue, the sole possilbe BC CM in state, all the parties are kind of worried about their BC votes. A possible shift on the section basis (this is not caste as there are 100 castes in BC and these section are half of AP - really cant call it is one section also).
So everybody started wooing them say CBN declared 100 (33%) seats for them and YSR said (plus one - 101).
Obviously you never know what they are thinking actually because they are in to all possible jobs /bussiness / agriculture etc and everybody has their own priorities.
One thing is certain that all eyes are on BCs.
Is Chiru agenda leaked 1 year ago?
Just if you have followed the developments of AP Politics recently we witnessed lot of parties coming up. My focus is mainly on JP's Loksatta and Mana Party of Gnaneswar. Chiru agenda sounds like essense of these two. Development + Reforms + Social Justice.
It may be quite possible the big parties in state might have leaked the Chiru agenda and started campaining about them early using some their followers. Who is pumping whom I have no clue, of course you can guess. If this is the case they want to hizag the Chiru's USPs and make him kind of nothing new.
But similarly Chiru might have insriped from the current problems and kept them in their agenda. Which will include the TRS and NTPP telangana stand was also seems to have accomodated by Chiru.
Anyway truth can't be hidden to much time in politics. It might come out soon.

Is Chiru inspired by Jaya Prakash Narayana?
Most of the items in agenda are sounds inline with JP barring the "Samajika Nyayam". All the other things education, health, argiculture, critical view of subsidies (he didn't mention any subsidies like free power, free rice or free gas), anti corruption, political reforms etc looks like that of JP.
Interestingly the name of the party is "Praja Rajyam" transilation of "Lok Satta".
Is the toughest phase of Chiru's has started?
Nobody can be exicited for too long as I mentioned in my previous article, now everything boils down to organizational efforts not by excitement. How he is able to pump his fans and cadre, how he organizes his campain, what is he going to talk about again and again matters now.
After Tsunami in AP politics now silence everywhere, once the silence break out, the oppositon will start their playing their cards. They will demean, discourage him and his followers, can Chiru cope up with thar pressure, can he keep his cool and right things time will only tell.
I want to quote a famous slogan by Mahatma MK Gandhi,
First they will laugh at you, then they will critisize you, they they will fight with you then you win.

Fond memories of chiru on his birthday
Chiru too has some special moments to ponder. Once he has shared this in his birthday celebrations:
A 15 year old pregnant lady was traveling along with his 20 year old husband in a horse cart from Mogaltur to Narsapuram. An RTC bus hit that horse cart and she has fallen down. The first thing she did was to verify if the baby inside her womb is hurt. That lady was Anjani Devi and that baby in her womb was Chiranjeevi. On this occasion, Chiranjeevi publicly expressed his love and respect towards his parents and requested his fans to emulate him.

Andhra Politics A milestone day
AP Politics - Chiru Challenges
The lack of development for more than 50 years in comparision with other parts of AP cause Telangana people to believe they are look down under by the politicians. Telangana has its own struggle for independance from Nizams rule has impact on them to identify themselves separate from the rest of AP. AP is formed by Sri Potti SriRamlu tyagam, while Telangana got inspired by Sayadha poratam. The lack of education, espcially lack adoption of modern cultivation methods , water resorces (partly because of geographically it was diffcult to build on platue and partly lack of initatives from Govt), culturally less stratagic (long term) caused locals to sell most of their lands to Andhra people and becomde labourers there. Lack of strong regional leaders also caused their issues to take back seat. Losts of Telangan people strongly convinced that they will be cheated by AP rulers causes the Telangana issue to burn, but the Telangana leaders like Mr Chenna Reddy and KCR also should be blamed partially for taking political and personal advantage of this. Though everybody understands that Separate Telanga itself doesn't solve any problem, all the problems has to be solved case by case even after separate state. Somehow, some of the people are emotionally attached to separate state movement. So at least it is unfair for anybody to cheat the Telangana separatist people again. Nobody is dare enough to explain thier stand for Samikhandhra, that sums up the story. So whatever Chiru stand, it should be clear and he should be able to convince/advocte his stand. This separation should be done by center so it is difficult for local parties to achive, they can only help/try to get it.
SC Categorization:
SC has two major castes Mala and Madiga. Malas are majority in coastal andhra (80%) while Madigas are majority in Telangana (70%). Madiga's claim that as Malas are in better position than Madigas they are leveraging the benifits of reservations better than them. So thay want a categorization on population basis say both will that take their own share. But Malas are oppsing this mainly it will cause the SC to disintegrate, actually Malas also not developed as the others think and also it will hurt them as some districts they are more than average population.
Minority Reservation:
This is also became contraversory recently by Supreme Court and High Court judgiments agaist reservations on the basis of Religion. Everybody accepts that Muslims are under devoloped, but nobody has the solution except the reservations, which is against the contitution.

Chiranjeevi poltical party announcement - Aug 17,2008
Its very good first day at office for Chiru , and the moment his voice announced his entry to politics, was an eruption of happiness in the fans , social activists and supporters of him.
In a very jubiliant mood throught the program , Chiru expressed NTR and APJ kalam are the main sources inspiration for him.
Though polticians were guarded in their response to the announcement, most of them have welcomed it. The veteran in Congress -Undavalli , has also said that he personally likes Chiru the most, as he is one of the very few whom you can look for inspiration - The effort he has put , the number of sufferings he has withstood, the amount of dignity he has shown even in the tough times to finally reach this stage in a convoluted environment like cinema shows his stamina to face difficulties and it wouldn't be so hard for him to gauge politics.
He was also feeling bad that in this political world, it may so happen that he has to talk tough words on somebody like chiru.
BJP leader Dattatreya too welcomed the move and looked forward to see the change.
Political analysts too were surpirsed at the matrity shown by Chiru and agreed that it was a very balanced first effort from him..
The meeting with public as posted by us earlier will be on Aug -26 on the Birthday of the great Mother Theresa at Tiruapati. Massive gathering is expected on the 120 acres of area. And about 10 Lacs is the intial expectation.
He concluded saying " Aug 26 , The great Mother birthday rojuna, Nannu nenu prajala mundu aavishkrinchukuntaa....." .Looking forward to the Big Day.

Early ecuberance will daunt whom benifit whom?
Most of the ruling party is hoping that Chiru will damage the opposition more than them so they are kind of ready to welcome Chiru. Chiru party has been in the news for more than 6 months now. Everybody want to evaluate the fortune of Chiru party very quickly esp Media, Political Paties, Chiru Fans and other movie and politics observers. If you observe the AP Politics genarally 4 to 5% votes shift against ruling party becuse of anti incumbency. Say NTR won 225 seats in 1999 and CBN won 165 in 2004 a shift of 4% votes, still not enough. In 2004 a dip of 5% more resulted big Cong victory gave Cong 230 seats (incuding partners). Assume same thing now may be slightly less may be they will lose same percentage. Then it would survive with say 160 odd. That would be a simple case. Very few Govt in India (except Tamil Nadu) having won 2/3rd majority lost its avantage. Also my guess people of AP aren't feeling too bad about current Govt may be similar to 1999 if you add up the loss due to partners like TRS and Left. But Cong constantly is working keeping the people perception alive rather than settling down the nerves of people. Full term they are critising the oppsition and their ruling, not missing a single chance, thanks to media. CBN almost ignored the opposition while his term, I am finding difficult to remember what he used to say about YSR before 2004. It is kind of dual role for Cong as ruling party and as oppsition for 1999-2004. Time will tell how far it is a smart approach.
A factor in politics is that politicians manage is making their supporters to hate their opponets. That is TDP supporters hates Congress and same is other way. In most of the cases it became like hatred on others is more than likeing of yours. That is Anti Congress, Anti TDP is more that TDP supporters and Congress supporters. These are stretegic voters like they will vote against Cong or TDP to the winning candidate whoever it is. Anybody who can starts a new force in politics with decent point can get the 10% to 15% votes easily as they are both Anti Cong and TDP. But it will not effect the results.
So whenever a third force come in India it effects in following ways. Assuming the 3 rd force is significant, If one party is strong then the oppostion voters will choose the 3rd force in panic of defeating the stronger one, so it will split the oppostion and strong party will be even more stronger. If two parties are equally strong, then anti voters from both the parties will make the 3rd force strong. More importantly whoever comes 3rd will be distant 3rd. They my exit from that place. That can be 3rd force also.
What is happenning with Chiru entry is vote banks are moving esp in Andhra region. This Chiru's own place, traditionally TDP region and currently Congress region. So the balance is almost same for TDP and Cong. The greater Rayalaseema (including Nellore and Ongole) still with rulers as anti TDP voters are sticking Cong and TDP may be weakening here so it makes Cong even more stronger. While in Telangana (excluding Greater Hyd) have maximum anti incumbency for Govt (due to dissidents from its own party, Telangana factor etc) Maha Kutami showing to be stronger (if it materializes) may cause Cong voters to tilt to Chiru more causing Maha Kutami to be even more stronger. The current equation looking like Kosta - Chiru, Greater Rayalaseema - Cong and Telangana - Maha Kutami and Greater Hyd is of couse a mixed bag of all these and MIM.
After Chiru starts campaining things will start to change, public response, his speachs, the agenda and him promises will dig into the strong holds of other parties then we have to see how drama unfolds. Chiru has to do lot of ground work and meet all the state by the time of elections, but the other parties I think lacs the stuff to do. So they will have to watch Chiru and plan the stratagy accordingly. This may leave them clueless for some period of time. The early exuberance of election may daunt the people who are not ready for activity. Political parties have to be on their toes from now on. It will definitely test their character, will power, money power and musile power.
The stage set for grand Poitical entrance- Chiru Tsunami alert for poliical parties forecast next week
It will be an emotional moment for all of his die hard fans and film fratenrity as he is bidding farewell to movies and is going to formally announce the same.
The announcement of party will be in Tiruapati.

More details follow soon.

Corruption- real harbinger for people - Some eye-raising stats.
As the Xth Planning commission report stated clearly : “Corruption is most endemicand entrenched manifestation of poor governance in Indian society, so much so it has almostbecome an accepted reality and a way of life”- It is really a shame to be at this stage.
some facts , if you can read:
About one-third of BPL households, across the country paid bribes in the last one yearto avail one or more of the 11 public services covered in the study, which shows thepoor are not spared even in the case of targeted programmes.
Nearly two percent of BPL households could not avail PDS, School Education and
Electricity, as they could not pay bribe or had no contact or influence to get access to
services. In fact, in the last one year, more than four percent of BPL households could
not avail Land Records/Registration, NREGS, Housing and Police Service for the
same reason.
Police and Land Records/ Registration services stand out for their “alarming level” ofcorruption involving BPL households among the 11 services covered in this study.Whereas, School Education (up to class XII) and Banking Service (including postalservice) comes out with “moderate level” of corruption, this also implies that even theseservices are not free from corruption.
The worst of all:
The study estimated that Rs. 8,830 million, in all, was paid as bribe by BPLhouseholds in the last one year, in availing 11 public services. It is estimated that thepoorest households of our country paid Rs. 2,148 million to police as bribe.TII-
A Four Pronged Drive Needed
The findings of this study calls for the following four-pronged efforts:
1. SimplificationUrgently required are simplification of procedures and even eliminating certain formalitiesfor BPL households; more visible and interactive redressal practices; curbing discretionaryoptions with individuals at service delivery points; and accountability by giving identitiesof functionaries.
2. Streamline Information FlowsImproved information flow for a more transparent and trust-based transactions andcustomized service orientation with the help of IT tools, e-governance initiatives and betterorganized front ends of service delivery points are required. Also, priorities and concernsof e-governance projects should keep in view the special needs of vulnerable sectionsof households.
3. Front End Staff Need Special ConcernReorienting staff to serve BPL and vulnerable households with special attention and on apriority basis is required. Their sensitivity to special needs of BPL households need to beimproved with periodic workshops and training programmes and special arrangements inthe operations.
4. Civil Society Activism is Better BetFinally, civil society activism has to come more in to play. It should be possible with RTIAct, Citizens’ Charters, Social Audit and on-line services. This study has shown that socialactivism can make difference in favour of the poor. There is ample scope for acollaborative course.
Fight for corruption- You will get a better society- A better governance and hpefully will realise a dream called "better life".

If you consider the fact the Chiru hasn't announced his party he had few rallies in Vizag, Blood banks, Nandi foundation in Nalgonda etc, he is almost already second in the state. He can easily go to 1st once he starts his party and start meeting people.

This is how trends are going (these are not votes). It think it is matter of time Chiru gains complete hold in Andhra, significan in Telangana and decent in Rayalaseema.
Obviously Cong is giving away its majority as it swept the 2004 elections. This doesn't mean they are weak but they are in decline.

Mega Star wave gripping the country
News that The satyam group and maytas Real estates corps has extended trust and belief in Chiru is making rounds in IT world and this is a significant step in IT supporting Chiru as the future leader.
Reports from Gujarat and UP are confirming about Ambani family showing interst to have discussion with Chiru about his political vision and participate with him in making this place a happy one to live for common man.
The strength of Chiru here is his commitment to serve. He had been constantly encouraging people to doante blood , eyes, spreading the mother theresa principles from long time .Unlike the present political leaders who rememeber their responsibilties, service and to say the least, people only around the election period.
Respected Prof. Kalam also has faith in Chiru's Service and he will be happy to head a R&D division which will direct the next generation education and strive for a better tommorow. He is one of those who wants to see a better India everyday , every minute, with vision and commitment . He doesnt do this for money. He does it to fulfil his life's ambition for educated India.
Folks..We will update you as and when we have more information .
We are also working across AP with debates about chiru's entry into politics , we will update you frequently, about the summary of them.
COming soon.....is SWOT Analysis on Chiru's poltical future.
Enable youth to be part of the change system Chiru plans to bring-in
Intersting fact that has come out in this is that, corruption is minimum in the 26-36 age group. The actual corruption trend is a bell curve, with this age group staying at the roots of the bell. Fortunately , it is the youth . Yes, it is Youth of India that is least corrupt.
Youth can make the difference, if given participation , not just in speeches but in practice.
Chiru should consider this seriously, and must take the onus of making youth a part of Politics. He should pick the best from across AP, from universties, from his fans where he can find people for whom serving for his state is much more than money and give them significant share in the politics , close to 25-30% and see the result.Chiru can be the father of a new history.
Finally, there is myth that youth are young. No they are not.The power and the fire to make a change is there, Chiru chanelize it , guide it and you will be remebered for long in the history for a brave reform.

Where should Chiru contest?
I am not debating where will he win or something like that. But which will give the boost interms of his campaining?
Here are my thoughts?
The possible options.
- Tirupathi
As per vasthu geographically it is right place
It is a lucky place to start
Already both YSR and CBN is from Rayalaseema, it is better Chiru to be CM outside Rayalaseema
- Narasapuram
This is his home, so if he wish to do good for his place, he may choose this.
This may localize the party to Godavari Districts itself.
- Nellore
He has a strong bond for Nellore (attagarillu)
Nellore dosn't has any focus in neither state or center in tems of politics though 10 MP are from here.
It may backfire in Telangana.
Pavan is more suitable here?
- Hyderabad
This is very critical place after delimition, to pull through the urban vote.
It is easy to keep track after elections also as he spends most of his time in Hyd.
Good way to reach the Telangana Voters.

What is expected of Chiru
Here are my views.
Liquor Ban :
Almost 15000 to 1.5 lac/anum was thrown away for liquor by families under poverty line in AP, contributing nearly 45% of his annual income on average.
Last year 6000 crores worth of liquor was consumed in AP next to only Karnataka. The liquor consumption is growing rapidly may touch 10000 crores in election year.
Even lot of IT and other high salaried employees also paying good 30% of their income to liquor.
If the liquor is not banned it next to impossible to erradicate poverty as people are habituated to spend their surplus (often absolute money) money on liquor.
End Corruption :
The corruption in AP is gone to a level that people started to believe it is not possible to erradicate it. The corruption by Politicians and Govt Officials in all forms like bribery, extortion, cronyism, nepotism, patronage, graft, and embezzlement are making the country/state a hell. This the major drawback for to solve any kinds of problem in AP.
As per one survey around 21000 crores paid for petty corruption in India by citizens. If you include all forms of corruption (favours to some relatives - nepotism and favourism etc) it will be 100 times more than that.
Caste equation should be discouraged as much as possible. I am not sure how to address differnt section of society without compromizing the integrity of the system. The equation for offering for differnt sections works something like this OC < Poor OC < BC < ST < Minorities < SC. If you put finger there anywhere in middle you will get into too many problems.
